Everything you need to know about our very own New Girl

We thought it was about time we put the Spotlight on our newest team member Victoria to help you get to know the person answering and directing your Support queries.

I challenged her with our six quick-fire questions and the end result? We found out that we have a belly-button-less shopaholic with a head for politics in our team – that’s not someone you find every day!

Here’s how it went…

Hi Victoria, here come our six questions – remember we want the first answer that comes into your head, whatever that may be…

What is your favourite website?

This is a tough one, but it has to be ASOS because it’s so colourful and laid out in a very aesthetically pleasing way with a lot of reference to their engagement with their customers (also I kind of have a shopping problem).

What is your favourite blog?

My favourite blog is actually by a friend of mine who is about to start studying English and Creative writing at university. It’s very satirical and serves as a creative expression of his own political and social views in a very professional, conscientious but fun format.

What is your favourite social media channel?

I’m an Instagram girl through and through ever since it started.

What were you doing before you joined the Phew team?

I used to work at Fraser Hart Jewellers in Bedford. It was a lovely little group and it provided me with a lot of my marketing knowledge on a selling level as I experienced being the middle man! When the new head of Marketing joined the company I was genuinely excited because he has helped redesign the company in a subtle way. I also worked at an After School Care at BMS and I used to volunteer at Salvation Army before Youth Theatre.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself

Am I allowed two? When I was born my belly button was an outie and my sister kept pushing it in until one day it never came back out! I’m secretly terrified it will just pop out again.

Also I’m ambidextrous but when I was 9 I stopped practising writing with my left hand so it’s a bit scruffy now. Yet when I go to run or jump I usually start on my left which is rare for people who aren’t left handed.

Finally, give us three words that best describe you

Sarcastic, motivated and creative.
