AILC Annual Conference 2016

Date: Wednesday, 9th November 2016 | Category: , , , ,

This year’s Association of Independent LSCB Chair’s Annual Conference was held on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th November in Sheffield, and we were pleased to go along as exhibitors and guests of the valuable event.

The two-day conference gave us a chance to catch-up with current clients, put faces to names of potential prospects and meet some new people we hope to work alongside in the future.

Although the workshops and seminars were for Safeguarding Chairs and Board Managers exclusively, we were able to pick up on some of the interesting and thought-provoking subjects raised through discussions with delegates and keeping up-to-date on Twitter (search #LSCB2016 for all the updates from throughout the event).

The general feedback we received was that despite this being a time of reviews and uncertainty for many, it is also a chance to take a step back and look at how things are currently done and what we can do to improve that. This is where we are pleased to be able to come in and help. Our solutions have been built up throughout our eight years of working within the Safeguarding community and every single solution we offer has been created to combat specific challenges faced by Safeguarding Board stakeholders, both internal and external.

The range of knowledge and experience we have built from this is what sets us aside from other providers, due to us being able to understand the processes and functions that different Boards have to adhere to and most importantly how every Board is different.

In summary, we can offer the following solutions:

  • Websites
  • Procedures sites
  • Event booking and management system
  • eLearning
  • Online auditing and reporting tool (perfect for Section 11 Audits)
  • Communications suite

We also offer additional services such as procedures content writing, Young People Microsites and social media set up and management.

If you would like to know more about any of these services please do get in touch. You can call me directly on 01234 779 054 or email jazmine.brace@phew.org.uk.

We want to thank all the people that worked so hard to put the event together and look forward to attending it again next year!
