What to expect in 2017…

 As we approach the end of December, we give you an insight into what to expect for the new year.

We’re nearly there, another year passed. These last 12 months may have bought about uncertainty and upheaval in some areas but here at Phew we’ve seen some great results.

We’ve done some brilliant relaunches for a number of our existing clients (and have some more to come in early next year so watch this space). We have also taken on board many new clients this year who we are looking forward to developing our relationship with and seeing what we can achieve for them in 2017.

Content, Content, Content

This year has also seen us delve further into the world of digital marketing, in particular Content Marketing. As you may have already seen, we now have a range of different packages covering our content, social media and SEO services. Get in touch today to find out more.

As we told you back in September (‘The future of content marketing’), 2017 is going to be a big year for this tool, but at the same time a hard year for us marketers to use it. Although the results will be greater, the ability to get them will be much more difficult.

This means we will be enhancing both our client’s and our own content to make it more targeted and creative, including videos and webinars. If you have any suggestions on any content or webinars that you would like to see email, we would love to hear your ideas.

Getting that ‘in-the-moment’ feel

In keeping with this, we also predict a rise in social media channels. If you really want to make an impression and attract potential clients, no longer is it enough to just have your basic Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. From our experience, Facebook is dying and Twitter is not too far behind, however this is relative to our needs. Each organisation is different and they need to find the channels that work for them.

On a whole, users now want to share an experience; rather than just write about it they want to
show people want it is really like, or for people (businesses) to show them what something is really like. This is why image and video based channels are on the rise, with the ‘in-the-moment’ feel surpassing the dated automated posts. We know as a business these automated posts are the essentials to keep you ticking over in-between the other stuff, so we can help you develop and enrich them to keep you at the front of the crowd.
