Harrow Safeguarding Children Board’s new website now live!
Phew is delighted to announce the launch of a new website for Harrow Safeguarding Children Board (HSCB).
HSCB take a ‘Think Whole Family’ approach to safeguarding and work collaboratively with Harrow Safeguarding Adults Board and other relevant agencies to promote the welfare of children and young people in Harrow and protect them from harm.
As an existing website client, HSCB were keen to utilise Phew’s services again when it came to needing a website refresh. The previous website was becoming outdated and they needed a new website which met accessibility standards so that it could be used by as many people as possible, including those with impaired vision, motor difficulties, cognitive impairments or learning disabilities, deafness or impaired hearing. They also required that it was responsive and worked well on multiple devices.
The team at Phew set about creating a website which is easy to navigate and find information quickly, has additional functionality, is responsive, compliant to international web accessibility standards and has a fresh and modern look.
Using the Phew content management system to update their new website is simple to do and staff at HSCB were able to refresh the web pages before it went live so that all the information and guidance to professionals and members of the public is clear and concise. Going forward, they are able to easily update the website when required using a ‘drag and drop’ visual editor.
