GDPR compliant analytics available for Phew Learning Management System and Audit System clients
We’re excited to announce an upgrade for our Learning Management System (LMS) and Audit System clients, which allows admin users to understand delegate behaviour, whilst protecting data and the user’s privacy.
Phew is committed to producing high-quality products whilst protecting sensitive information and we made the decision to move away from Google Analytics as it stores data in the United States, a non-EU country, which may pose data protection risks due to potential breaches of EU regulations.
Matomo stands out as a credible and powerful alternative, as it is fully configurable to adhere to the strictest privacy laws and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.
By using Matomo, system admin users will be able to track course views to understand the demand for courses, user engagement, and much more. This data is invaluable for being able to tailor course offerings to meet the evolving needs of delegates.
As a valued Phew client, there are no additional costs associated with adding Matomo to the LMS and Audit System.
