Safeguarding Children 2022 Conference

Date: Friday, 17th Jun 2022 | Category: Client, General, Phew news

We spent a productive day in Manchester at the Safeguarding Children 2022 conference on Wednesday 15th June, where our MD Matthew Burgess was joined on stage to present a case study with Mark Wilson, Learning and Development Coordinator, and Neal Balfour, Business Support Officer, both from Dudley Safeguarding People Partnership.

As users of the Phew Learning Management System and Audit System, Mark and Neal told how the Partnership were able to improve outcomes for those at risk through a data-led approach for statutory and non-statutory evaluation of training and practice; whilst managing processes better, unlocking data, and preparing for future challenges.

Using the Learning Management System, they were able to respond instantly during the pandemic, to create more than 50 eLearning courses by successfully adapting their face-to-face training to a virtual offering with no cost implications. They have also trained 5,000 delegates between 2021-22, using less resources than ever before.

They went into great detail about the impact of improving outcomes using the systems, and you can watch the presentation in the video below.

We also took along our exhibition stand for the day and it was great to have the opportunity to meet with many of the attendees.

Thank you to Open Forum Events who organised this informative conference. We thoroughly enjoyed our first in-person event for the first time in three years!
