Website Accessibility Report

Date: Wednesday, 26th Jan 2022 | Category: Client, General, New Features

Phew is committed to ensuring that all systems delivered to clients are accessible and inclusive for as many users as possible, including those with disabilities. To reinforce this, the team has developed a new monthly report to provide website clients with visibility of their accessibility score, detailing challenges, and helpful tips for making content compliant.

Prior to the training stage and the new website or system going live, our team will make sure that it complies with the key requirements of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) best practice accessibility guidelines and meets an industry AA standard. This includes making them available to mobile phone users or those on low network speeds.

Following this, we offer an optional ongoing monthly service to monitor and check that the website continues to stay compliant at this high standard and make any necessary updates or suggestions.

Those that have signed up for this service will begin receiving a new monthly report, starting in January, which shows their current website accessibility score, as well as suggested content-related tasks which can be completed by website admins to elevate the score even higher. Further details will be emailed to those clients this applies to, so keep an eye out for that if this is you.

Do you have a Phew website and want to ensure that it is fully accessible for all visitors? Get in touch with the team by sending an email to support@phew.org.uk for more information about this service.
