Being told something we do is ‘valuable’ and a ‘significant development’ for a client is music to our ears here at Phew.

Woman sitting at desk giving thumbs upWe pride ourselves at listening to our clients, so we can create the best solutions that meet their needs in the best possible way. So, it is wonderful when we are told a recent development has hit the nail on the head.

Recently we added a function to our Learning Management (LMS) and eLearning systems, which allows users to add external courses to their sites.

And Samantha Smith, Learning and Improvement Coordinator at Hampshire Safeguarding Children Partnership, was so pleased with this new functionality, that she took the time to tell us how valuable it is for her team and her stakeholders.

Samantha explained: “Being able to host external eLearning on our LMS is a really significant development for us. We currently signpost to several national courses, but it is on a separate part of our website, directing professionals away from our local training.

“Being able to host it on the LMS encourages everyone accessing it to have sight of our full training on offer, in one accessible place. The option to embed it in the system also means we can develop pre- and post-evaluations to assess the impact of the training. This is a key factor for us when reviewing our training needs analysis and ensuring that any external training we are recommending meets the needs of our professionals locally. This is a hugely valuable option for us.”

Matthew Burgess, Phew MD, explained: “It so difficult prioritising developments for our solutions. So, we especially love it when we get it right!

“A recent development to allow clients to list courses or eLearning that are hosted externally is a really good example of this.”
