Havering Safeguarding Partnerships website now live!
Phew is delighted to announce the launch of a new website for Havering’s Safeguarding Adults Board and Safeguarding Children Partnership (Havering Safeguarding Partnerships), providing much more visibility of the work they undertake to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults and children in the borough.
Havering Safeguarding Partnerships previously had no dedicated website and wanted to offer essential safeguarding information online to support residents and multi-agency professionals across the borough.
Following a tender process, Phew was awarded the contract and the team set about creating a website which is easy to navigate and find information quickly, responsive on different devices, and is compliant to international web accessibility standards.
The new website features information on a range of different safeguarding issues for adults, children and young people or their parents and carers. There is also a clear button on every page which can be used to report a safeguarding concern swiftly.
Additionally, safeguarding policy, guidance and practice issues are available on the website for those working across the local multi-agency partnerships for adults and children.
Using the Phew content management system to update their new website is simple to do and staff at Havering Safeguarding Partnerships were able to create content for the web pages before it went live so that all the guidance for professionals and members of the public was available immediately. The website will be updated on a regular basis with safeguarding updates, learning tools and training opportunities.
Shakira Gordon, Training and Development Officer at Havering Safeguarding Partnerships, commented: “The website has given us a centralised platform that offers local guidance and safeguarding information to our residents in an easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing way.
“We have had the pleasure of working with Phew, who provided ongoing support and assistance during the development stage and continue to offer us support post launch.
“The reporting mechanisms allow us to stay up-to-date with usage and informs us of ways to optimise user experience on our site. The administrator’s controls are easy to use and we are able to make changes and updates easily and at our convenience.
“We appreciate the high level of customer service offered to us by Phew and would especially like to thank Remi and Amanda for their patience and assistance.”
