Welcome to our new Developer, Beatrix
We’re delighted to welcome Beatrix Ducz to Phew, who recently joined the Client Service Team as a Software Developer.
Beatrix will be collaborating with the team to support our products and improve client experience, whilst adhering to the software quality standards.
So, with that in mind, we thought we’d take a moment to ask Beatrix a few questions and find out a bit more about her.
What were you doing before you joined the Phew team?
Prior to becoming a software developer in 2018, I was working as an executive assistant. As I have this background in management support, it is second nature for me to see the product from the clients’ perspective as well as the developer’s.
Why did you decide to make a change?
When I discovered that Phew uses Agile methodology as an approach to project management, I wanted to learn more. During the onboarding process, I learned that the team applied these best practices in their day-to-day work, and that assured me that not only will I be working with caring and supportive management, I will have the opportunity to achieve my personal development goals.
What are you looking forward to about working at Phew?
I’m excited about producing solutions which will meet the client’s requirements and more. Being able to play a part in looking after clients and help keep them happy will be at the forefront of my work and I’m looking forward to having this impact.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love music. I play the guitar and sing (very horribly), and began learning to drum last year. I enjoy spending time outdoors and keeping active through hiking, cycling, yoga, swimming and indoor climbing. I have a wonderful husband and we like to play board games and cook together. There are some personal software projects I’m working on and will happily spend long periods of times on those.
