Welcome to our new Product Owner, Rebecca Rickard
We’re thrilled to introduce Rebecca Rickard, the newest member of the Phew family! Rebecca has joined our Client Service Team as a Product Owner, and we’re excited about the valuable contributions she’ll make to our growth.
In her role, Rebecca will play a pivotal part in building and fostering relationships with our clients. She’ll also take an active role in the development of our Learning Management System and Audit System, contributing to the continued evolution of our offerings.
So, with that in mind, we thought we’d take a moment to ask Rebecca a few questions and find out a bit more about her.
What were you doing before you joined the Phew team?
I have been a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager, Delivery Manager and general agile evangelist for the past 20 years, working across a diverse and varied product landscape. I have delivered a multitude of apps, websites and back-office systems within a myriad of market sectors, including nuclear safety, retail, education publishing, financial technology, to name a few.
Why did you decide to make a change?
It felt like the right time in my career and life to shift gears. Pursuing a permanent contract close to home was a priority – I won’t miss those lengthy commutes to the cities!
What are you looking forward to about working at Phew?
I’m excited about having the opportunity to truly owning a product and supporting its long-term development. Being able to witness first-hand how our clients benefit from it is something I find particularly rewarding.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am originally from Cornwall, so have a love for swimming, surfing and most watersports. Embracing the outdoor lifestyle, I enjoy long country walks with my dogs. Food is another passion of mine – whether it’s growing, cooking, eating, or sharing!
