Dudley Safeguarding People Partnership (DSPP) is responsible for making sure children, young people and adults are kept safe in the borough. DSPP work with relevant agencies to improve local safeguarding arrangements and hold each other to account in order to protect Dudley’s most vulnerable people.
Their previous website was owned by the Local Authority, and as a multi-agency partnership, they were keen to show their independence. Feedback from users of the site found that it was not easy to read, and it was time-consuming and difficult for administrators to make continuous updates.
The team at DSPP were also keen to integrate their Phew Learning Management System with the new website so they could promote courses with a consistent look.
As an existing Phew Learning Management System and Audit System client, who had been impressed with the support and quality they had already experienced, DSPP felt that the Phew Website Framework fulfilled all of the requirements they had.
The new website was designed specifically for their stakeholder groups and the the areas are differentiated visually with one colour for adults section and another for children. DSPP have access to flexible layouts which provide a streamlined and refreshed feel for users.
Information and guidance to professionals and members of the public is now easier to find than ever before, and DSPP have seen an increase of 950% in document downloads from their website within the first six months of launching.
The website was designed with the latest compliance to industry benchmarks, including accessibility, and the team at DSPP are able to continue to monitor this inhouse.
Along with their Learning Management System being seamlessly integrated with the website which provides a consistent look and feel, they are also able to send out their newsletter to stakeholders using the website content management system.
A monthly detailed analytics report which highlights how their content is performing is sent to the team, and this provides them with an overview of their website which they’ve never had before.
“We turned to Phew when we identified the need for a new website, primarily because we were already utilising two of their systems, which consistently prove effective, and we held their client service in high regard. The website’s adaptability, adherence to industry standards, and seamless integration with our Learning Management System has significantly enhanced our online presence.
“The website now serves as a comprehensive platform for professionals seeking quick, user-friendly access to information. With the added benefit of self-monitoring accessibility and streamlined newsletter distribution through the content management system, our online operations have become more efficient than ever. Phew’s monthly detailed analytics reports further provide us with valuable insights into our website’s performance.”
