We’re delighted to welcome Andrew to the Phew team as our new Full Stack Developer. Andrew started his new role at the beginning of May and will be a key part of the Client Service team, helping to get system updates out to our clients.
So, with that in mind, we thought we’d take a moment to ask Andrew a few questions and find out a bit more about him.
I’m a Full Stack Developer, which means I work on developing our systems, to make them even better for our clients.
I’m going to be joining the Client Service team. So, with more hands on deck, we will be able to get essential updates out to clients even quicker.
I was working for Homebase/Bathstore as a Product Owner. My role was to come up with and gather ideas, plan changes to the website(s), see them through to release, and then track progress to see if they were performing as expected.
My whole background has been as a developer. I really enjoyed the change and challenge of working as a Product Owner, but I missed being hands on in the code. When I saw this opportunity, I didn’t need to think twice.
I’m looking forward to working on some of our systems and making changes that will genuinely make a difference to people’s lives.
Also, I previously worked for Phew about four years ago. The company has grown massively since I left and I am excited to bring in my own experience to help push that progression ever further.
Me and my partner have recently bought our first house, so all my spare time seems to be spent on DIY. But if I do get time to myself, I like watching football, reading (mostly about history or science) and trying to keep up with the latest tech.
