Just launched! Dudley Safeguarding People Partnership’s new website

Date: Monday, 18th Jul 2022 | Category: Web Design & Development

Phew is really pleased to share that the new website for Dudley Safeguarding People Partnership (DSPP) is now live!

DSPP is responsible for making sure children, young people and adults are kept safe in the borough. They work with relevant agencies to improve local safeguarding arrangements and hold each other to account in order to protect Dudley’s most vulnerable people.

Their previous website was owned by the Local Authority, and as a multi-agency partnership, they were keen to show their independence. Feedback from users of the site found that it was not easy to read, and it was time-consuming and difficult for administrators to make continuous updates.

As an existing Learning Management System and Audit System client, who had been impressed with the support and quality they had already experienced, DSPP were keen to appoint Phew when it came to requiring a new website.

One of the main goals for the new website was to demonstrate that whilst DSPP is a life course partnership, children and adults have distinct separate areas of work, so it needed to bring together information for children, young people, adults and their families, plus the professionals and volunteers who work with them.

The new website is easy for users to navigate and find information quickly, has additional functionality, is responsive, compliant to international web accessibility standards and has a fresh and modern look.

Using the Phew content management system to update their new website is simple to do and staff at DSPP were able to refresh the web pages before it went live so that all the information and guidance to professionals and members of the public is clear and concise. Going forward, they are able to easily update the website when required using a ‘drag and drop’ visual editor.
